Cycle parking on campus

After recently completing audits of the cycle parking facilities at our Mile End, Whitechapel and Charterhouse Square campuses, we thought it was about time we made an updated map showing you exactly where you can park your bike, how many spaces are available and the kind of storage that is provided.

So, if you’ve been wondering where the closest sheltered parking spaces to your lecture buildings are, or if you want to know if there are any better placed parking spaces for where you need to go, read on!

Mile End

Our Mile End campus has spaces for 468 bikes, the locations of which can be seen below. You might have to zoom in a little to see the numbers on the maps!

The table below shows the total number of bikes that can be parked and the type of cycle parking provided at each location.

Whitechapel

Our Whitechapel Campus has space for 280 bikes to be parked on campus. See below for the locations, the number of spaces and the kind of parking available.

Charterhouse Square

Our final campus that we have audited so far is Charterhouse Square which has space for 110 bikes.

The four locations of these parking spaces are shown in the map below, along with the table outlining the type of parking facility and the number of spaces at each location.

We hope you find this useful and don’t worry if you are based at Chiselhurst – we’re not ignoring you, we just haven’t got that far yet!

We are also in the process of uploading these maps on to the website but, if you’d like to get your hands on them sooner, send us an email sustainabletravel@qmul.ac.uk.

Where would you like to see more cycle parking facilities? Let us know in the comments section below.
